Barbecue Propane Tanks

The companies listed below accept 20 pound propane gas barbeque tanks.  They may charge a nominal fee.  Please note that inclusion of a company on this list is not an endorsement by the County of Westchester.

Before placing a tank in your car, empty it through normal use of your grill and seal with a plastic cap.  Propane tanks come with a cap to insure safety in transit.  Most hardware stores and propane distributors sell replacement caps.

If your propane tank can be refilled, consider giving it to a neighbor or a friend to use.
