Westchester County Executive Andy Spano is urging parents not to throw any lead-contaminated toys found in their homes into the trash where they can pose environmental risks.  Instead, they should store them away from children and bring them to  Household Chemical Clean-Up Days scheduled around the county.

2007 Household Chemical Clean-Up Days Schedule Items accepted are automotive fluids (excluding motor oil), flammable liquids, metal and furniture polishes, pesticides, photographic and swimming pool chemicals, cell phones, car tires (maximum 10 per drop-off), mercury thermometers, TVs, computer monitors, and more… Any questions, call the HCCD Info Line at 914-813-5425.
