4 Dana Road - Valhalla, NY 10595 About 60-Control Our Main Operating Freq. is 46.26 Mhz. 60 Control provides primary dispatch for 41 Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Dispatch for 18 EMS Agencies in Westchester County. Currently there are 19 Dispatchers, 5 Shift Supervisors (Lieutenants), a Captain, and a Chief who comprise the Communications Division. There are a total of five groups (squads), two of the five groups work on a given day. All shifts are twelve hours long. Each group rotates between days and nights and work three shifts per week. When at full staff, each group is assigned One Lieutenant and Four Dispatchers. Want to be a Dispatcher? Dispatchers are hired from the civil service listing of Communications Operator Trainee. Qualifications and testing requirements may be obtained from the County's Human Resource Dept.
