Higher learning takes priority in Westchester County where there are 23
colleges and universities, as well as numerous business and vocational
schools. The Westchester
Community College is one of the top-ranked institutions of its kind
in the nation.

museums, theaters, dance companies, galleries, orchestras, choral societies
and music festivals. The Neuberger
Museum in Purchase, the world-renowned Caramoor
Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah and the Hudson
River Museum and Planetarium in Yonkers are but a few of cultural diversions
which can be found in Westchester County. |

courses, fishing, cross-country skiing, camping and swimming, just to name
a few. Three major trail ways invite strolling or bicycling. The County
has one of the highest proportions of recreational acreage-to-population
