- The New York Business Development Corporation
(NYBDC) is a privately owned financial organization funded by the banks
to provide long term financing to help small businesses across the State grow
and prosper. NYBDC works as a complement to conventional banking by working
in partnership with banks to provide term loans, many of which do not meet
the more traditional financing requirements, such loans can range from $50,000
to maximum of $1.0 million.
- Community Capital Resources, (formerly the Westchester Housing Fund) has become the SBA’s Microlender in the County with an initial loan pool of $500,000. This is in addition to their ongoing microlending programs funded by the County, State and private sources. They also provide an array of technical assistance programs including a business plan writing workshop, free QuickBooks training, website design, one-on-one financial counseling by certified counselors on staff and financial literacy courses. Here in Westchester we administer the Individual Savings Accounts (IDA) program.
- The New York State Linked Deposit Program
The New York State Linked Deposit Program is a program administered by Empire State Development, the New York State Department of Banking and local lending banks.
