To use excel documents, click on the above highlighted items. File will open as a read only type. This is a precautionary measure to prevent the main files from being modified. Make the changes you want in the workbook and then save it with a different name (Go to "File", then "Save As" and save as a different name to the preferred folder on your computer).. The workbook saved with a new name does not require a password and will then be able to be edited to your preferences.
