Mission Statement: |
The Guild Care Adult Health Care programs reflect the ongoing mission of the Jewish Guild for the Blind, to offer a "wide range of programs and services to persons of all ages, races and creeds who are blind, visually impaired, or multi-handicapped." Guild Care's supportive environment and holistic approach are designed to maintain,, restore, and/or improve the physical, mental and psychosocial functioning of those visually impaired adults, especially the elderly who might otherwise require institutionalization. The aim of Guild Care is to foster independence and assist caregivers by providing a package of services in a congregate setting that accomplishes these goals.
