Mission
Statement: |
The Vocational Assistance Project (VAP) provides Vocational Rehabilitation Services in Westchester County to individuals recovering from alcohol or other substance abuse. Funded through OASAS, individuals who are engaged in treatment throughout the county are referred for a vocational assessment when appropriate and recommendations are made to assist in vocational planning. The recommendations can then be incorporated into each clients' individual treatment plans and worked on collaboratively with their treatment team toward the outcome of community reintegration.
