2-1-1 Get Connected. Get Answers.

If you need help or want to give help

With many communities in Westchester and the Hudson Valley reeling from the recent flooding, we wanted to remind you of a valuable service available to you.  United Way's 2-1-1 is a free, confidential and multilingual information and referral service for anyone who needs non-emergency help or who wants to give help.

As with most disasters, events are changing rapidly.  2-1-1 is the source for people to learn the current status of various relief and recovery programs - both now and in the weeks to come.  So pass this along - and remember, call 2-1-1, or if you are a cable phone user, call 1-800-899-1479.

A special note:  The Volunteer Center has not received any specific requests for volunteers to respond to the flooding at this time.  Currently, first responders are managing the situation, and unaffiliated volunteers are urged to stay out of the affected areas.  If opportunities become available, we will forward this information to you.  Thank you for your cooperation.
