The
Nor'easter of April 2007 has caused devastating damage to the Westchester
area. The flooding left water damage to scores of homes, automobiles and
businesses, numerous power and gas outages as well as extended road
closures.
New -
The Small Business Administration will open a disaster recovery center
for businesses on May 1 at 123 Mamaroneck Ave. ( Mamaroneck Village
Hall). SBA officials will be there to assist business owners applying
for low-interest loans. Hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
SMALL BUSINESSES: special work
sessions
Business owners: Attend a Small Business Administration seminar organized by
Westchester County. The seminar will take you through the complicated
process of applying for a low-interest loan and advise you on what
documents you will need.
