There is an income tax credit that thousands of Westchester residents don't know about.

It's called the federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and it's a credit available to working people or families with modest incomes.

If you are eligible for this credit, we want you to have the information on how to obtain it.

The 2009 campaign (for tax year 2008) will get underway in January. Check back then.

In the meantime, we need volunteers to help with our effort. We will train you.
