The Trip Begins

Our entry point to China was Hong Kong.

This afternoon, the delegation concentrated on visiting two universities -- Hong Kong Baptist University and Lingnam College -- to open up student and faculty exchange agreements.

In the evening, we met with Rosemarie Wallace, Readers Digest's regional managing director for the Asia/Pacific region.  In the past, we've had these discussions with business people who are associated with Westchester companies, but now work here.  It is a very good way to learn about how to succeed in the Chinese market from our Westchester perspective.
