The Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services identifies the needs of the elderly in Westchester; creates plans for meeting those needs; and advocates for responsive policies, programs, actions, legislation and resources on behalf of the elderly. The Westchester County Department of Consumer Protection works to protect consumers, ensure a fair marketplace, investigate consumer complaints and educate the community on consumer issues.

The Westchester County Office for Asian Affairs is constantly assessing the needs of Westchester's Asian-American community and coming up with ways to solve problems.  Daisy Yau, who heads the office, works closely with schools, local organizations churches, health centers and government departments to see how they can better meet local needs.  The office offers a full package of information about the different programs and services available within county government.  To request a package please call (914) 995-2476.
