Scholarship Opportunities
If you want to know what kinds of scholarship programs Westchester County offers or what educational assistance is available to you, please visit any of the below sites.  The County's Youth Bureau publishes a list of scholarship opportunities specifically for African American and other minority groups in the community.

One outstanding example is the Jandon Scholarship program, run by the private Jandon Foundation and Westchester County, to provide college scholarships for low-income students with academic promise.

A collection of scholarship and fellowship opportunities gathered by the Westchester County Youth Bureau. Many are geared specifically to diversity students.

The Ron Brown Scholars Program seeks African-American high school seniors to receive $10,000 annually for four years to attend an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. Deadlines: November 1 and January 9, 2009.
