| NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is made up of families and friends of people with mental illness and mental health providers. We are the Westchester affiliate of the national organization. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for people living with mental illness. We have education programs in both English and Spanish, support groups, monthly meetings with speakers addressing topics important to our members, a newsletter, and a helpline. We have a small, part-time office staff. Our operating budget is funded primarily through membership fees and donations. | |
| Computer Equipment Needs: | |
| We need 3 computers, preferable Pentium III or better, with monitors. The computers need to have enough memmory to handle ACCESS database files and perform simultaneious operations with different Office programs. We already have the necessary software. | |
