| PAL is a juvenil prevention program that provides educational, recrational and athletic programs to area youth. PAL is based on a trong belief that children can develop life long skills, reah adulthood and achieve citizenship through these programs and opportunities. Wit the help of Poic Officers, the attitudes ofthe youngsters can be improved and changed fr the better. PALprograms not only promote greater trust between youngsters and offcers, but also bring youth uner the supervision of responsibl volunteers, mentors d tutors. These role models will provide youngsters with proper values and skills to help thembecome prodctive citizens. Studies have shown tht if a youngster respects a police officer on the ball field or in a gym, he or she willikely cometo respect the laws that the police officer enforces. This benfit to neighborhoods and busines communities, in hich our youth grow up is virually immeasurable! | |

| We are establishing an after school program and we wuld like to hve at least a dozen units conected the the web.Also, I would like to fous on miuse of theinternet. Parent's are really not aware of all the exposure of te internet and we would like to educate them on some safety isses as well. | |
