| Midchester Jewish Center is a religious organization organized pursuant to the laws if the state of New York. Its purpose is to enable its membersto meet the devine worship and other religious obserbances of the Hebrew Faith and to carry on the functions as enumerated in our Certificate of Incorporation. We also foster a knowledge of our faith to the community and develop and strengthen precepts and ideals among ourselves with the aim of encouraging the spiritiual , intellectual, social and physical welfare of our congregants and others in the community. |

| Computer Equipment Needs: | |
| We presently have two very old pre-pentium computers that cannot properly handle our needs for billing and for mailing requirements. We need 2 pentium computers with at least 200 mhz, 64Meg of ram and a 56K modem. We have active Senior and Adult Education Programs whose membership and course lists are maintained on our computer systems. Information is communicated to the membership and the community through desktop publications, standard correspondance, e-mail and our Web-site updates. These functions perform poorly on our present equipment. Up-to date technology will enable us to work more efficiently and get our information to the public on a more timely basis. | |
