The Perfect Setting for Clean, Safe Summer Fun
Camp Playland is dedicated to providing campers with an exciting, fun and memorable summer experience. Open to boys and girls ages 7 to12,Camp Playland’s program is jam-packed with discovery, skills and energizing activities in a setting unlike any other. Operating since1928, Playland Park is the area’s premier amusement park and recreational complex owned and operated by Westchester County. Located in a beautiful setting overlooking Long Island Sound, Playland’s magnificent facilities stretch over 279acres. The park is known for its Art Deco period structures and distinct grass-and-flower covered mall. For over 75years, Playland has been pro-viding family fun and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987.

Camp Playland’s weekly sessions include:

• Afternoons at Playland Amusement Park

• Daily skating instruction at the Playland Ice Casino (Sessions 3, 4, 5, & 6 only)

• Open swim time at Playland Pool ( 2 days per week)

• A round of miniature golf

• An afternoon of pedal boating on Playland Lake

• Daily afternoon snacks

• Off-site activities

• Plus arts & crafts, arcade games, sports and so much more!

Sessions & Times

Camp Playland meets Monday through Friday, with campers arriving promptly at 8:30 a.m. and departing at 4:30 p.m. Late pick up at 5:30 p.m. is optional. Campers can bring their own lunch or purchase lunch at any concession in the park. Afternoon snacks will be provided daily.

Staff
Experienced, caring and energetic counselors guide campers throughout the day. A minimum camper-to-counselor ratio of 10:1 at Camp Playland exceeds New York State requirements.

Transportation
Parents must provide transportation for children to and from camp. Camp Playland is conveniently and centrally located, and easily accessible. Take New England Thruway (I-95)to Exit 19 (Playland Parkway) and follow for 1-1/2 miles to the park entrance.

Tuition

• $325 per session (full price for first session)

• 10% discount for additional sessions

• One-time $20 discount for residentswith a Westchester County Park Pass

• 10% discount for siblings

• $100 deposit per session
