The Casino, completed in 1930, is the largest of Playland's buildings in the Art Deco style.  When built it contained a restaurant, games area and dance floor.

The ice skating rink, part of the original Casino design, attracted the public and ice hockey teams. Major renovations in 1937 added two more skating areas and improved facilities.  Today Playland's ice is used by the Mahattanville Valiants College Hockey Team as well as by many towns and school ice hockey teams.
