Garden Shop at Lasdon
A bounty of colorful, seasonal plants, plus
garden-related gift items,
botanical artwork and more is “in store” for shoppers at the Garden Shop
at Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial in Somers. From 11 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m. every Wednesday through Sunday, including holidays, visitors to
Westchester County’s largest publicly owned arboretum can browse the new
selection of merchandise and enjoy a cup of fresh, hot coffee as they shop.
The shop carries beautiful horticulture related
gift items including tools, gloves and stationery, and features a selection of
exquisite house plants to enrich the décor of your home. In an addition, the
shop will also sell traditional as well as hard-to-find herbs, annuals and
perennials in season, many of which are raised in the Lasdon greenhouse.
Knowledgeable staff is always on hand to offer helpful advice or assist you in
making the perfect selection.
Lasdon is a 234-acre park and developing
arboretum featuring many species and
collections of trees, shrubs and perennials. It is located on Route 35 in Somers
and can be reached via I-684, exit 6 or the Taconic State Parkway to Route
202/Route 35 exit.
