CELEBRATE ITALIAN HERITAGE AT KENSICO DAM PLAZA

The wonderful sights, sounds and tastes of Italy come to Westchester County at the Italian Heritage Celebration on Sunday, July 13, from noon to 7 p.m., at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.

The free festival is a showcase for great entertainment including Italian folk singing and dancing. The Wanders Band will provide musical entertainment, playing traditional Italian and pop music.

Entertainment for children includes fun rides and games. There will also be an assortment of vendors with a variety of arts and crafts, jewelry and ceramics available for purchase. Food vendors will have delicious Italian cuisine such as pasta, meatballs, zepoles, sausage and peppers wedges, Italian ices and pastries.

The event will be held rain or shine. Bring blankets or chairs for informal seating on the lawn.

The Italian Heritage Celebration is sponsored by Westchester County Parks, the Antonio Meucci Lodge #213 (Order Sons of Italy) and the Westchester Italian Cultural Center.
