Pride in Parks, "PIP"

We of course take pride in all of our parks. That inspired the name of the program we use to manage quality of the park system – Pride in Parks (PIP). Each facility comes under the close scrutiny of the PIP team and a variety of factors are measured against the quality goals we have set for each facility. A “PIP cam” records conditions of the facility and the images and other quantifiable factors are discussed at bi-weekly staff meetings. PIP has been very useful in terms of measuring and improving the quality of our facilities and the service we deliver to our customers. PIP involves analyzing problems and finding the solutions together. By the way, 97% of parks inspected under PIP received an inspection grade of 85% or higher.
