CROTON GORGE PARK ACCESS ROAD RE-OPENED

The bridge that spans the Croton River and affords the best view of the spectacular spillway at Croton Gorge Park in Cortlandt is now re-open to the public after a repair and rehabilitation project. This bridge serves as the only entrance and exit roadway for the park.

Croton Gorge Park is a 97-acre property at the base of the Croton Dam. The park is a popular spot for fishing, picnicking and hiking, with direct trail access to New York State’s Old Croton Aqueduct. The park is also available in winter or cross-country skiing and sledding. It is located on Route 129 in the Town of Cortlandt.
