The
Alternative to Sentencing Program offers case management services to
developmentally disabled offenders as well as those whose behavior places them
at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
Referrals may be made by the court system, attorneys, probation, parents
or the school system for individuals who are age 16 or older.
The service coordinator will assist the individual in accessing such
services as vocational, educational, drug and alcohol treatment, advocacy,
medical and housing. For
