View what the Village of Elmsford is doing for the Mayor's and Supervisor's Challenge regarding health and fitness:

The village is fixing up the South County Trail which starts in Elmsford Village and will be promoting “Meet Your Neighbor on the Trail Day,” which will be taking place in April.  There will also be an opening day ceremony this spring for a reconstructed tennis court where tennis programs will be made available to residents.

June 10, 2007 Events:
2:00 PM - Dedication of the new tennis court at Carol Nichols Park on White Plains Avenue. (See pictures below)
3:00 PM - Ribbon cutting dedication of the new park in the Village of Elmsford's Rest Area on South County Trailway at the bottom of Van Wart Street. (See pictures below)
Federal, State, County, Town, School, and Village Officials will be on hand for both dedications.

 

On June 10, Elmsford residents were invited to the ribbon cutting ceremonies of two new initiatives which were facilitated by the Mayor of the Village of Elmsford and the Village Trustees:

      - Ribbon cutting ceremony for dedication of the Village’s new Tennis Court at Carol Nichols Park on White Plains Avenue: The newly built tennis courts have already been well received by residents. Attendees at the kick-off event received information on the tennis instructions that will be offered at the courts, free tennis balls to promote their interest and healthy snacks.

      - Ribbon cutting ceremony for dedication of the newly created Rest Area on the South County Trailway, which is located at the bottom of Van Wart Street: This popular area of the Trailway for walkers and cyclists now has a nice Rest Area courtesy of the Village of Elmsford.
